The tourist destinations in Hanoi are generally grouped into 2 main areas: the Old Quarter and the French Quarter(s). The "Old Quarter" is in the northern half of Hoàn Kiếm District with small street blocks and alleys.

Hanoi or Ha Noi

…is the capital and second-most populous city of Vietnam. As evident by the literal translation of its name – 'inside the river' – portions of Hanoi's border are delineated by the Red and Black Rivers. As a municipality, Hanoi consists of 12 urban districts, 17 rural districts, and one district-level town.

The last time I visited Hanoi before this year was when I was 5 years old.

Hanoi, somehow, has a soft spot in my heart. The town has something that Saigon doesn't have, and I guess that's the chill part. Hanoi-ans are chill, relaxed, and calm, except when they're driving. I only came to Hanoi twice since 2022, promising to myself that I need to come here more often instead of only be in the South side.
